BANANA BELT SAMS

    The Banana Belt Sams is an Ontario Good Sam chapter located in the Essex, Kent, Middlesex and Lambton County areas.
Our Purpose is friendship, recreation and socialization. The Alzheimer Society is our favorite charity and "The Steam and Gas Engine Museum" in McGregor is our community project.

    Our chapter began to form at the Samboree in Fergus Ontario, August 2005 and it was in March 2006 that we received our charter. Our first camp out was in May of 2006.

    We have monthly camp outs from May to October. As a group we've camped in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Ontario.
The camp outs usually include a pot luck dinner and a breakfast as well as a meal at a local restaurant as well as games
and an evening campfire.
